Your cart is empty.This base plate is pre-drilled to fit the DWP611 and DCW600 Palm Routers or the Porter Cable 450 Palm Router. It's designed to help wood sign carvers to maintain better control of the router for finer detail carving in graphics and text. Each base is laser cut from clear 1/4 inch cast acrylic so you get a clear view of what you're cutting or carving. Overall measurement is 5" x 7.5". The center hole is 1.75" in diameter for better visibility. NOTE: The oversized hole will NOT accept "template guides". Each base comes with the handles attached. In most cases they are not made to work with factory made dust extraction ports.

It’s perfect! Full control of the power tool with this plate. The little finger handles allow me to do my precision cuts, grooves, and engravings that are needed for the work I’m doing.Not sure if the sturdiness of it yet cause I don’t plan on dropping my tool anytime soon. But seems to be sturdy enough and light enough to not notice any kind of awkward feel to the power tool.Highly recommended!

I bought this needing a slightly larger opening for a decorative router bit. The plate fits perfectly on my router. It's also a quality product that is made in the USA, as oppose to a country that floods the Amazon market place. Thanks for the note, and that starburst! I'm excited to use it!

There isn't anything I dislike a/b this part. I had been using my palm/trim router and experiencing difficulty following laid out lines for carving. With this part from Dave's, I now have control and carving /routing is much easier. It fits perfectly to a DeWalt trim router. The price was more than I expected, but the return on my investment is more than worth it , in terms of control and ease of operation.

Plastic is so thin the heads of the screws stick out, would scratch the work surface if used. Countersunk for flathead screws but the screws for the router are pan heads.

This base works fairly well. I'm now on my second one, because they break easily.With my second base, I experienced a manufacturing defect (they had not drilled the holes for the router mounting screws properly). When I sent an email with picture evidence of the defect and the damage it had done to one of my projects, the company replied I should sand flat the screws on my $200 machine, rather than them offering to replace or repair their product.Honestly, if you are good enough to need a router base like this, you should have the skills to make your own acrylic base with a drill press and a couple of drawer pulls.I will not buy this product again.

Worked great on my little dewalt. Gives you good control and visibility. I recommend for anyone trying to freehand wood signs. Go nice and slow.
