As pictured. Tastes great. Dry, the smell is sweet hay and maybe a soft citrus?Brewed, the taste is still sweet hay, honey and some light floral notes. Gong fu session got me about 5 good cups but you might push it. Easy daily drinker. Brewed at a lower temp to maintain sweetness. At higher temps you get more hay and astringency but not in a bad way. Great price for what you get. Will buy more.

I ordered Moonlight White Tea in the spring and summer of 2024. I absolutely loved it. I ordered it again in December and received a bag of tea that looked similar, but smelled and tasted nothing like the product I had come to consider as exceptional. it was, in fact, undrinkable. Just plain bad. I ordered again from amazon, hoping it was a one-off issue, but it was not. I requested refunds from Amazon on both orders - Thankfully they obliged. When I wrote to Davidson's about this, they told me that they can't account for the conditions in which Amazon stores their products (I would have assumed companies would be more demanding about how Amazon treats their products, since whats the use of having a large market if your product is compromised??). They encouraged me to order directly through their website. I did this, and received a product of equally poor quality as the most recent orders from Amazon....I contacted Davidson's about this again, and have not heard anything from them.Disappointing experience. I would have given one star (based on the poor quality of the recent product and a poor customer service experience) but the fact that the tea was so good the first two times I ordered it made me add the second start.Buy at your own risk.

At the price, I was surprised. Pleasantly.I would recommend this to friends or family who appreciate tea, or even if they have only known coffee. It is like a champagne of teas, even among white teas. Very pleasant. No affiliation. Merely... pleasantly surprised.

Upon opening this tea my nose was hit with the floral fragrance of the tea buds. It’s a very beautiful tea, but doesn’t resemble what is pictured at all.(EDIT:: After reading other reviews and seeing their pictures , which actually resemble what’s pictured for this product, I am sure that what I paid for is not this tea!! BUYERS BEWARE! ) I don’t see any silver strands. The flavor is powerful and sweet with floral notes like chamomile tea. There are notes of caramel, whispers of Vanilla and finishes with a flavor reminiscent of Nigori Sake. It’s a good tea to practice mindfulness. If it’s sipped too quickly then it has a “medicinal” finish that can be off putting. The flavor is a bit much for my taste, but it is a good tea.

Like most products from Andersons, this is another great product. It’s a little more expensive than the regular white tea, but it’s most assuredly worth it!! It has beautiful long leaves that have silver on one side. I love to grab my tea leaves by hand & crumple them up to get the maximum fresh taste! One simply cannot find a better tea for the price. And the price just went up some. Not enough for me to go back to a cheaper brand. The leaves just release extra flavor & more as I crumpled the leaves🥰

This white tea composed of large, intact leaves and has an extremely smooth taste. Dry, it’s light green, amber when brewed. Highly recommend!
