This is easy to use when I don’t want to give the dogs a bath but they have managed to get something stinky on them. Be careful not to over-apply or it feels sticky but otherwise works great.

Perfect to use when you don't want your dog to smell either like damp dog OR a perfumed dog. Seriously, this shampoo smells slightly like rubbing alcohol initially, but once you rub it in to the dog's coat and then off again, there is no virtually no smell at all. No perfume-y odor and it does fluff up the coat just enough. Not a substitute for a real bath, but excellent for quick clean-ups.

I was excited to try this given all the good reviews. However, upon opening the package, I noticed the nozzle was broken. It was still able to spray so I tried it on my cat. The scent was strong and it smells bad. When it dried on my cat it had a sandy and sticky feeling. I would not recommend

I've been using Davis Waterless Pet Shampoo since 2019 when a bottle used to be just under $20. Tried a couple of different no-rinse shampoos in between but never liked any as much as Davis. Just ordered a new bottle, which is now $34.75, as I've almost ran out of the bottle I purchased last year ($27.74 in 2021). Felt my wallet bleed a little but since there's inflation and I haven't found another no-rinse shampoo that I love more, it's worth it... I thought.My order came 2 weeks ago and the first thing I noticed was that it was delivered in a paper mailer bag. My past orders were delivered in boxes, but I thought as long as it wasn't leaking it should be fine, since I remembered the bottle having a separate cap that you can then switch out to the included spray nozzle after receiving the item anyway. To my surprise and slight confusion, I opened the package to find a bottle with its safety seal broken, nozzle already attached to the bottle. I sprayed some on my hand, and was put off by the smell -- there's a sort of "chemical" smell to it, so I was worried that maybe my bottle was defective or compromised.I contacted Amazon and they were very quick and nice about sending me a replacement product. I've just received my replacement, in the condition shown in the attached photos. Once again the bottle was shipped in a paper mailer, without a liquid proof bag that a lot of other Amazon bottled liquid products come in. This time the bottle isn't as lucky as the previous one, and the nozzle (once again already attached to bottle with its seal broken) looks to be broken from impact damage. The mailer bag itself is torn, and was probably also already torn once somewhere in between its travels as there's a piece of tape over a hole near the top of the package. The shampoo liquid was leaking everywhere, and I noticed it also has a "chemical" smell to it. I now wonder if it's a batch issue, or whether Davis had changed the formulation of the product altogether.I loved using this Davis Waterless Pet Shampoo multiple times a day on my dogs after each walk -- the scent used to be light and powdery, not overpoweringly sweet like other scented no-rinse shampoos I've tried on my dogs. I'm so disappointed that I now have to find a different product to replace it.

It could be I did not apply this correctly or it's just the way it is. But my dogs hair felt really gunky after using this. Which surprised me because I use Davis Degreaser shampoo for my dog and I absolutely love that stuff. But not too crazy about their waterless spray shampoo.

Washed my 2 labs, didn’t take much product, scent is a little strong. Product could be a lot better by changing applicator nozzle. Most nozzles have a stream side and a spray side, this only has a stream, makes it more difficult to use. If it had a spray alternative, would be much easier and take even less product.

My dogs go yo daycare daily and get home tired and sometimes smelly. I wet some baby wipes with this spray and wipe them down head to paw. Their fur is soft clean and untangled. I spray them down with it when they get really dirty.The price is right too. It was a bargain compared to others I have bought in the past.

Good product! You don't need very much to squirt on since it lathers up quite a lot with just a small amount. The smell is good (smells like lavender roses). Product works best when you blow dry and use a brush after applying it and use a damp cloth to soak up some of the lather since it does lather up a lot. I use it quite often on our American Eskimo as he unfortunately pees on himself due to incontinence (he's 19 years old going on 20!)

Leaves the dogs smelling fresh but leaves a residue that makes them feel not as clean. Guess I'll go back to my old waterless that didn't do that, I'm a little disappointed because I love Davis products

Smells very nice. Like the product ingredients. Will last about 2 days with a busy puppy. I put product on a warm wash cloth and rub into fur. I do not spray directly onto animal. I am using on a 50 lb 7 month old puppy who loves it.
