The "standard" rollers that come with the chair are lightweight dual plastic, with no inherent flexibility. These "upgrade" rollers are solid "soft" solid plastic, somewhat like rubber rollers. I ordered and am using three of these handy little chairs, but just one set of "upgrade" rollers, until I saw what they are like. After using both the standard and the upgrade rollers, I really like the upgrade, and I am going to order two more sets of these rollers for my other two chairs. They are a little pricey, but for me, I think they are worth it. The standard rollers are not bad, and entirely adequate. But I am "springing" for two more sets of these roller upgrades. These little chairs are amazingly handy, with their unique low sitting position. I love them for all of my "crafty" work.

I bought a chair for my husband and it came with wheels but I saw these too and thought I would buy them and he could choose which ones he liked. He immediately used these and was absolutely happy with these wheels.
