I use this with my four-wheeler and my yard sprayer. It keeps me from having to run wires to the handlebars. So far it works good.

This is by far the easiest way to hook a light bar or any external lighting to your vehicle. As you are not drilling into the cab. You're not looking for holes to run wires through you. Just plug and play and then use a remote This is actually my second one of these. I even had one hooking up an amp to a factory deck because I didn't have access to a remote turn on and the remote turn-on setup that I found did not work with what I needed to do and with having the battery in the back of the vehicle it made it 10 times easier to use a remote to control everything and keep everything contained to the trunk. No wiring going anywhere

Seems well made but will only work on light duty applications. Don't think it would handle 40Amp very well but a 20 Amp application would make this item useful, maybe.

Got this for a project ATV Buggy for grandkids, and needed a way to kill the engine remote. Wired this up and works as expected, good range and can reach to far corners of yard where they ride. The dual fob is good so if had lost or misplaced have a spare. Fair price, and does the job as advertised.

We got one of those kids 12v rode on cars for our kid. I wired this in line with the battery so i can shut him down if he starts heading toward the road. Has lots of range. Would buy again.

Functions exactly as expected. The instruction manual is not as clear as it could be ie. the "learning button" is not identified on the photo and terms like "working way" and :"it change momentary successfully" are confusing. Suggest they hire someone with a command of English to proof read the user manual.

I had a switch that malfunctioned on my houseboat for a freshwater pump for a washdown hose, I decided to install this remote relay instead of having to flip a switch on every time I could actually carry the remote, I am very impressed as far as the distance that the remote works . I’m very simple hook up. Nice effective way to switch something, amp rating is very high.. quality of remotes seem very good!! I will buy again

Bought this to remote-control on/off a light on a theatre stage - i have an LED light is in a counter (think display case, or jewelry case) where there was no way to run a wire from offstage. So I put a 12v battery under the counter, and used this relay to switch it on/off. The power draw of the light was trivial - maybe 1 amp. This relay worked right out of the box. The range was about 60 feet, fully reliable. They advertise 30 amps capability - there is no way I would switch that much power, especially continuous.

I personally like the design of PCB antenna instead of a wire spring as is other relays. Looks very good built. Not sure the pcb pass-through can actually hold 40A for any long time, that's a pretty high current to be honest, but I don't see any problems with my application utilizing 12A DC.The relay simply works, clicks, enables the downstream circuit. Overall I'm completely satisfied. Special thumbs up for stylish remotes.

We have a Jeep Cherokee which has a recall for the power liftgate fire hazard (even when the car is not running) due to corrosion on the electrical contacts. Jeep, as yet, has no remedy for this problem and simply did a CYA by recommending owners not park the car in their garage or near any buildings. Very practical...Pulling the fuse avoids the problem, but then you can't use the rear liftgate and have to load and unload the trunk from the passenger compartment by folding the rear seats.I connected this receiver to the fuse box and set the mode to only supply power to the liftgate circuit while the remote button is being held, so you can't possibly leave the circuit powered unintentionally or for an extended period of time. Works great and my Wife loves it (at least compared to parking the car a block away).
