I'm using this to release the vacuum in a pick & place machine. It has enough force to overcome the vacuum and is working well.

This solenoid wont lift a whole lot, but works great for my uses. I appreciate the long travel and low strength option. Would recommend.

I'm a retired electronics technician. I've built an electronics bench here at home to design, build and test all things electronic. I'm often in need of a simple push pull solenoid that has a ton of torque. This on fits the bill. It seems well built and rugged enough for serious use. Depending on what voltage you use, it pulls quite a bit of current, so if you're integrating it into a circuit make sure your components can handle that much.
