Well I got these for my 77 Monte to help my wheels mount up better but unfortunately when I went install I couldn’t get them to mount up… low and behold the inner diameter measured out to 2.75 inches… which is about a 1/2 mm too small. For what’s it worth the outer diameter fits perfectly in the wheels. But the inner diameter not being 70.3 renders these absolutely useless for me. Looks like other people had sizing issues as well. Buyer beware.

Worked great on my 2001 Crown Victoria with a 70.5mm hub bore. I had to file down the insides of the rings just a hair with the round side of a hand file (maybe just was because of the very slight layer of rust on the hubs) You want these to be a slight press fit, but not so hard you risk damaging them. I used a hammer and an oil filter wrench the same size as the rings to press them on.

Centering rings are debated among mechanics if they are necessary. Factory use them, so it makes sense we do too.I used this to adapt Halo 18" x 8" rims (74.1mm center) to 2000 Pontiac Trans Am (70.3 center).

I was a little sketched out before ordering due to 0 reviews and the seller not stating a tolerance. I received the rings and they fit well like they were suppose to on my hub. Each ring was within 0.10mm of tolerance (+/-0.05mm) which I find to be pretty good for $15. I forgot to count in the center cap on my wheels for the total OD size but I was able to turn them down on my lathe to have a precise fit in the center caps. Works great and a lot better than a plastic ring which would wear out, melt, warp or fall apart after years of use. Sturdy and won’t rust. These went on my 2001 S10 LS extended cab 4x4
