Unfortunately it was too late to return the part, was purchased a few months ago. Be aware that will not fit in the V6 variant of the Fiero 1988. That is the only reason why I gave 1 star.

I had to return this item. It is for a 4 cylinder engine only. It is almost twice as long as the one in my V6 Fiero.

Rubber bushings are softer than stock, so motor still has a bit of play. Works, but could be better.

I received the torque strut and had it installed in 10 minutes. It dropped in just like it was made for it!

This Strut was a perfect replacement on my friends older car. Only issue with this, and others that I looked at, is that the black rubber bushings is too soft of a material in my opinion. As a result almost from the start I noticed that the bushings were nearly completely deformed just from the pressure of the Strut being mounted. When I rev the motor the engine torque easily compressed the thickness of the black rubber. Maybe this is part of the Struts design characteristics, but don't think that the rubber will last very long when it so easily compresses like it does, will see.
