Unbolted the old, bolted in these. Fit directly. the non-rubber end seemed wider than original but compressed into place when bolting down. Used to have a "clunk" on stop or acceleration at times and now no longer have with both parts (this and the other rubber stopper / upper motor mount this bolts to) replaced.

I put these on my 08 Grand prix, which desperately needed new mounts all around (at 300K miles). These were easy to install and seem to be holding up well for the months I have had them installed. I don't anticipate performance to be any worse than the OE dog bones, and I won't find out - because this car wont likely go another 300K miles.

I replaced my Front Engine Torque Strut mount on my 2004 chevy impala 3.8L LS edition. It fit stronger than the ones on the car. The price I was blown away by it being ordered online.

Installed on a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix with 3.8 Series III. Noticed an occasional clunking when pushing the throttle from start. Found worn rubber bushings on the old torque struts. Replaced with this new high quality part and it resolved the clunking and improved throttle response!

I have purchased other non OEM replacement parts and have not been happy, this one is quality. The metal is as thick as the OEM, and the part is the same size and basic design. The only thing I cannot say for sure is the quality of the rubber but since the rest of the part is well done I doubt I will have issues. There was one tiny paint chip, but I may have done that, fixed it with a black rattle can.Installed in my 2006 Grand Prix.

Perfect OE fit. This was installed on a 2003 Chevy impala with a 3.4l and they fit perfectly fine with no extra adjustments or taking other parts off.
