I bought this tank a year ago and it fit as it was supposed to. I used the mower very little over the following months. When I did get around to using it, I added fuel past the half-full point and the fuel gushed from a leak at the seam. It doesn't leak if I keep the fuel level below the seam, but this product is just awful. I paid almost twice as much as it's current selling price. I wish I had had the benefit of the now similar reviews at the time.

The tank leaked due to seams being molded/sealed incorrectly.Ordered a replacement and gasoline in tank MELTED the gasket. Had to drain gas, replace filter, and unstop carburetor. I would rate this product a ZERO if possible!

Very disappointed, I had my original tank 21 years and just started to leak. I replaced it with this one and leaking at the center seem after about a month, if it didn’t leak from the start because I had not checked it after the first week of use. I’m sure it’s just a defective tank and all are not that way. I hope they’ll reach out to me and offer a replacement and I’ll update this review.
