These bearings are loose in the aluminum housing and the spindles fall out with a tap. The spindles are tapered at the top of the bearing and fits barely slug when seated in the top bearing. This should be a press fit the entire width of the bearing not a push by hand fit on both spindle in bearing and bearings in the aluminum housing. You can push the spindle out of the bearing with finger pressure. Don’t think Loctite would be of help here knowing the pressure being put on the unit with belt tension. Bottom line - very poor quality but, at $25.00 for 3 complete units you get what you pay for.

Perfect fit. Easy install without any issues or problems. Never have any issues with product sizes or quality. Everything is always perfect from Amazon for us. We’ve never had even the slightest issue. These blades are still on my mower and probably will be for years to come. So much cheaper than buying from Walmart or mower repair shops near me. Tried this to fix problems and seems to be the part was faulty but company sent another to replace the first one and still have problem. Maybe it’s not part after all, couldn’t possibly have gotten two bad parts. Will contact company for advice because they’re very helpful

These spindles were exact replacements for the originals on my Craftsman riding mower. They installed quickly and easily as the originals. They seem to be heavy and well built. I will update later to see how long they last - I also replaced the blades at the same time.Update: These spindles aren't very well made. One of the entire arms that connect to the mower deck broke off when I ran over a tree root that I've mowed over 100 times. The other stripped at the top where the belt pulley connects just from regular use.

This cable is an aftermarket. With that being said and after using it i think it is better than the o.e.m. was. When I attached it to the deck it was much easier as there is no spacer required and it came with a new bolt to attach to the idler pulley. I do recommend that you make sure all springs on the deck are in good working order as this will insure a good engagement a d smooth operation of the deck. This product is very good and works flawless and is a great value for the money.
