Recently I purchased this piece to add to my A shaped shelves (also purchased on Amazon). The piece itself is beautiful, however, it arrived broken. It may have been the shipping that broke it or a slightly flimsy design but I used super glue and it has held up well. This can make a great decor item, especially for those who love to travel. The globe does spin 360 degrees and the details are realistic.

This is for a baby shower gift -- it overall looks good and like the picture. It measures accurately (small, but accurate). Where the paper is applied for the "map" on the globe, the corners are lifting at the seam and one part is completely ripped off from initial unpacking. Unfortunately, I don't have time at this point to return it!
