I really like the fact I could find upholstery tacks in the square shape. I don't just use them for upholstery, but to hang pictures and other home decors when I know the nail might show. They really add class to any room they are used in.

I really like the square design of these. Look very nice. I yard them in foam board so them were easy to place.

I purchased these tacks with the intent of using them in the construction of my vision board.I really like the style and believe the look really complimented my design. My only complaint is that the tips are a little blunt Wichita and made it difficult to push through the ribbon, quilted fabric and the corkboard but the end result was worth the hassle.Knowing what I know now, I would have still purchase these for my vision board.

These are pretty cool, nice quality tacks. I was going to use them as feet for some wooden boxes but the tack part is much longer than a thumbtack so it didn't work out for me.

Next project will be round shape upholstery nails because of all the time I spent getting the square shape leveled not only in the horizontal plane but the vertical as well. As you hammer these babies in, they rotate (and yes, i used needle nose pliars to hold the nails while sinking them into my mom's 1950's cedar chest). I even tried anticipating how much twist on my last tap by turning it slightly counter clockwise off center to allow for the final twist to be perfectly level, but that didn't help either. With circular objects, you only have to worry about keeping them in line with the ones before. Reason for using these was because I covered a majority of the chest with leather and refinished/stained with polyurethane finish around the base and edges. These nails provided the final step in securing the leather I glued to the top, front and sides.
