This purchase was to replace a seven year old, identical set of nerf bars on my 2016 Ram 1500 that had rusted out on one side. Removing the old set was the hard part. Installing the new set was fairly straight forward since the directions were well detailed.

First set lasted almost 7 years and completely rotted from the inside. Just put the 2nd set on and love my truck again. Great bars, fairly easy install, had to re use 2 old bolts because new set shorted me.

Installed on a 2017 ram rebel with air suspension so either ZD or Ram changed something, there is a bracket on the drivers side that is close to the bracket installation spot but it is not in the way. Steps installed fine as per instructions and look good. I have only had them on for a few days so we'll see how they last.

These steps will not work on a 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel. Or any 1500!with the air suspension. The front brackets are different. A pain to return.

Bought for my 2014 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Crew Cab (larger doors). These were easy to install and are quite stable as well. They were a great price and shipping was excellent.
