Though I haven’t completed the installation process, the process seems to be just what I expected. Had some minor dimensional issues during installation, but no show-stoppers that couldn’t be worked out with reasonable mechanical aptitude. I also purchase to optional vehicle fuel line adapter/connector, I was able to find a YouTube video for reference in installation - would have been handy if such (website, link, etc.) was included with the tank. The tank arrived with minor denting (fill cap & surface area around the full cap), but this seemed to be a carrier issue (apparent rough handling) - again, minor with no impact to function…, certainly not bad enough to warrant a return.I haven’t breeched the truck fuel line yet (ran out of time with only a 2 hour working window), but it seems relatively easy with maybe another half-hour to 45 minutes of work. As for the tank itself, I’m eager to put it to the test - especially to see how the internal baffles work to minimize abrupt fuel shifting.

I could not find a lot of guidance if this would my 2020 Silverado 2500. Just completed installation with no problems. The fuel tank fits great, the fuel cap is just slightly lower than my rollup tonneau cover. There is about a 2" gap between the tank and the bottom of the front of the truck bed due to the configuration of the bed wall. Wasted space but not a big deal to me. I biased it to the passenger side of the bed allowing room to turn the drain valve on and off. I used DEE ZEE DZ97960 Auxiliary Transfer Tank Connector Kit. 4 stars due to a dented fuel cap during shipping. Tanks is expensive but appears to be good quality. I really like the flexibility it gives me pulling my 5th wheel.

I searched a long time before choosing this tank for my 2500 Denali. I have a 6.5 bed and I wanted extra fuel when pulling my 5th wheel. I also wanted to be able to mount a small truck tool box between the tank and the hitch. I was able to do this with this tank. This thing is very solid and high quality.Mounting required some modifications to get this thing placed where I wanted it. The bottom flanges that attach to the truck bed aligned with valleys and no the ridges of the truck bed. I took several washers and carefully duct taped them together and basically created a large shim. I placed this in the valley under the mounting flange. I was able to secure this without bending the flange. No big deal but worth mentioning.I was really hesitant about adding a tank and using a gravity system. I think cutting the filler neck to the fuel tank caused me the biggest delay. I didn't want to mess up my truck with a gravity feeder. Once I determined I could buy a replacement filler tub and swap it out in just a few minutes, I completed the install.I have had any issues with leaks or this thing coming loose int he truck. My wife was also against the installation until we went on a trip. Being able to drive all day long pulling our 5th wheel, she confessed that she was very happy I bought this tank.Great product, worth the money, in my opinion.

The product is well made with some exceptions. The 3/8 drainage plug should have been placed closer to the bottom to be able to empty the fuel well. The packaging was terrible. Mine arrived with bent mounting tabs since the tank was placed inside a cardboard box without any material to cushion it. The tape on the box was coming apart as well.

Just installed in my Ram 3500. Fits in front of bed ahead of my tool box. Both box and tank are same height so looks great. Only issue is language in the Amazon description saying "venting coupler" is included. There is no such item in my package nor a place for one on the tank. Called Dee Zee and they say the tank is vented thru the fill cap. Haven't filled it yet but will try it today. If that is true, it is worth 5 stars; I downgraded because of confusing description.

This fuel tank arrived three days after the ordering completely undamaged which was a big surprise after reading some of the reviews. It appears to be a good quality build, the welds look great. I searched for a tank that was going to provide me the most usable truck bed area and this was my final choice. The install in my GMC 2500 short bed was incredibly easy. I would recommend this tank to others any day.

Tank fits great in my F-150, even with a tonneau cover overtop. Biggest problem is the filler cap leaks, even when filled up half way the liquid splashes out.

Received the tank and the pump two days earlier than the estimated delivery date. The tank was listed to weigh 67 pounds, but seems lighter. I was able to get itin my truck by myself, even lifting it over the fifth-wheel hitch. Looks great. One caution: This is in a Ford F-250 and does not come all the way to the floorbecause of the the curviture of the floor to sides, so a couple of 2x4's (frontand back) under the tank would be advisable. Haven't filled it up yet, butexpect it to work fine.
