There was damage to corners on both pieces of shelving. I was out of town for a bit before opening. Otherwise would have sent back. Used only one unit so far as it was the least damaged. Need a location for the second, someplace that the corner damage would be the less noticeable

The shelves are okay but the brackets are flimsy.

I recommend this product highly. Fairly easy to install. Hardware is decent quality.Not sure what the definition of "floating" is, my opinion is these are not floating because you can see the brackets. But, if "floating" is a shelf mounted on the wall, then these are floating.
