About this item

  • 🍪 Fashioned from natural solid beech wood. Great for rolling out dough for Swedish knackebrods, crackers, or flatbreads.
  • 🍪 This hand-crafted rolling pin has a knobbly corrugated design to give Scandinavian crispbreads their unique dimpled appearance. It is also used to make lefse, a traditional Norwegian soft flatbread made with riced potato.
  • 🍪 Use it at home to make delicious crispbreads from a simple rye dough. Or use it to make the dimples in Swedish oat biscuits, often made for the big smorgasbord at Christmas time.
  • 🍪 The rolling pin is made from birch wood and measures 44cm. Handled design aids in creating desired thickness. Includes deep notches to put holes in your dough, keeping it from rising.
  • 🍪 Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry with a clean towel.

I am delighted with this beautifully made rolling pin - have been looking for one just like this. It will be used especially when I prepare some Christmas things - with perfect neat little indentations in the pastry.Arrived very promptly and was packed well.thank you very much.
