I have a John Deere LX172 and it started running rough after a few minutes upon starting it up. It would stall out and backfire. Replaced this part and now running fine again.

Works on my John Deere 170. It starts right up but after it has been running it will not fire up again until it cools down. I think it needs mounted somewhere else rather than on the engine basically.Unless it's something else that does this behavior. But everytime I start having those issues I buy one of these and its fixed till next season.
