When we received them, they looked plain until he plugged them in and they lit up and he thought they were the coolest things ever! Work well and lasting so far.

The controllers themselves look and feel great, the buttons are responsive with no input lag, and I've noticed no stick drift so far. My main issue is that this set of controllers is advertised in the images (specifically image 6 on the store page) as having a USB-C charger port, but both controllers only have the normal Micro-USB port found on regular PS4 controllers. It came with chargers so it's no biggie but it's still false advertising. One thing I must mention though, it says SPECIFICALLY what devices it can be connected to (PS4 versions and PC) so any reviews complaining that it doesn't work on PS5 when it is CLEARLY a PS4 controller have to be trolling or they've never touched an electronic component in their lives.

I was gifted a PS4 for Christmas and decided to order a couple extra controllers just in case -- and I actually prefer these to the actual PS4 brand controller. They work the exact same but seem to charge more quickly, and the charge lasts a little longer. I couldn't be happier with these.

I had expected some lag and to be annoyed with the RGB lights, but that hasn't been the case. I got these today, charged them up, and was playing in no time. They worked pretty much straight out with my PS4. Just plugged them in to start charging, hit the button, the ps4 responded, and away we went. As far as lag, I haven't noticed any yet. And the lights. There's another review I read that says they can't be turned off, but they absolutely can. Share + Option cycles through the different lighting modes (which off is one of). Share + Option + R3 turns the lights off straight out. Outside of some texturing on the side, the symbols on the buttons are a little different, and the PS button is a triangle, I'd never know the difference between these and the one that came with my PS4 when I bought it.Update: I've been using them for a little while now, and I can say that the motors that shake the controller are a little bit more buzzy than the original. it's not bad, but noticeable.

I got these controllers after a slight “rage-induced” tossing of my original PS4 controller that resulted in it no longer working. I thought the design for these replacement units was fun and decided to give them a try. A few observations:* The controllers aren’t quite as smooth as the originals out-of-the-box and require a bit of breaking in on the buttons / joystick* One major advantage of these over the original PS4 controllers is they have a much longer battery life (it seems about twice as long as the original controller)My friend (who is a better gamer than me) thinks there is a bit of lag VS the original PS4 controller which could be a big deal if you are really good (I’m not that good and thought they worked fine)* The RGB effect is a bit polarizing and can be a bit distracting in a dark room (however,my younger nieces and nephews think these are the coolest things ever!)* One major complaint is that these are marketed as USB C and they are clearly Micro USB (which is a huge pain when having to charge the controllers with the cables they came with)Overall, I think these might be fine for younger gamers who like the RBG design and don’t care about the charging cable or slight differences vs an original PS4 controller.
