I like the large base. My cut out was 12" plus my roof support bracket. Any boot less than 19" would not cover.

I did some research on this Dektite flashing and watched a video about the install. The Dektite person in the video said their product ships with the screws and adhesive, it is a complete kit. What this vendor is selling is not a complete kit. So took away a couple stars for that reason. Used my own screws and silicone. Seem to seal to the ribbed roof pretty good. Time will tell if it will last.

This chimney flashing was used in conjunction with our wood fireplace chimney at our lake cottage that has a metal roof. It was exactly as advertised and effectively sealed the hole in the metal roof around the 11 inch outside diameter class A stainless steel chimney. The outside edges of the base plate are extremely flexible aluminum and easily conformed to the metal roof ridges making for an easy instalation. The neoprene boot that the chimney fits through is tapered and marked at intervals by cutting guides so that it will fit outside diameter chimneys from 6 inches up to 14 inches.l

I ordered one for my tube sky lite, which was leaking water because the metal roof was not installed correctly. after it arrived I ordered another for my triple wall fireplace flu. Both had their own problem in the installation. but fit tightly and I think will do a great job. They appear to be of supper quality. The supplier, is available to help with any questions
