CorningWare used to make a small oval shallow disk great for a slice of pir or dollop of ice cream or two. called a Sidekick. We wanted to get a replacement and Amazon offered a similar plate called the Delling Appetizer Plate.These were slightly larger which was perfect. In fact we prefer them to the Corning unit. Perfect size, Attractive and great price. Everyone needs plates like this!

These are the perfect size plate for side dishes, or with my coffee and sweet roll in the morning. They look good and can take some abuse without chipping. We're happy with them!

These plates are perfect for an appetizer party! They look nice and fit quite a bit. Or...use as a dessert or salad plate. They stack perfectly for storage.

We have only had these plates for a week, but we like the smaller size for salads, deserts and snacks. They arrived in perfect condition and still look good after one trip in the dishwasher.

These plates are sized right for a sandwich and a few chips, a sandwich and small bowl of soup, a slice of toast, or a slice of pie or cake. They are very versatile, dishwasher safe, and stack for storage. They are thick porcelain so weigh slightly more than I would expect for their size at 14 oz. each. A similar sized corel dish would weigh about 8 oz. But the thickness should add to the durability of these dishes. And where else can one find rectangular plates?

My first order of these, I am using as watercolor mixing palettes. I can do a different color in each corner, they are bright white, non-staining and easy to wash. Nice curve at edges. Came very well packaged, no breakage either time.My second order was to solve a problem: not remembering where I had put my phone, fountain pen, small things like that. I decided to try using these small rectangular plates as designated "landing pads". I have one in each room where I have this problem: living room, kitchen, etc. For me this is working great, I am about 90% trained that if I set such things down and am not using them at the moment, they go in the bright white dishes.I didn't need all six of the second shipment as landing pads so am actually using two as plates! they work very nicely for that also :-)
