I replace it with old one but still I have problem with RPM and its same also I got new code on my 2001 Cadillac deville 0171 and 0174 so to me it s junk part and I waste money

Working well so far. 2003 Cadillac Deville. Engine would start and then die. It would not idle or stay running without keeping foot on the gas. OE AIC failure made the most sense and sure enough, as soon as I removed the old one, the plunger was hyper extended and not working correctly. The replacement went in easy and fixed the issue right away. Great price.

Part fit correctly on 2001 Old's Aurora, just took a little time for the computer to read new part. The only reason for a 4 on rating was due to poor packaging. The Idle Air Control valve was laying out separated from its box in shipping envelope as the part box was crushed during shipment. This part is sensitive as the plunger could be moved out of timing. So far seems to be working fine, got lucky.

This is the exact same part sold by Volvo for the 5.7Gxi engines with two exceptions. The Volvo branded part is painted red and costs $100 more. Used to fix all of the symptoms of a failed IAC which can include hard starting when the engine is cold and hot, oscillating rpm after starting cold, and failure to start if you do not open the throttle. It took 4 mechanics and 1.5 years to troubleshoot... If you can use a Phillips screwdriver you can change out this part and at this price, you might as well replace the part every 10 years.

Bought this to fix an idle issue on a 2001 Cadillac DTS. Worked perfectly. When i first put it in. The car started almost the same way with the bad sensor. Then after a couple of minutes of idling and driving the car and the computer worked out all the buggggs! Works perfectly. No need to have flashed to the computer. No more driving down the road like the throttle was stuck. No more hard starting in the morning. Didn't have to pay the big high dollar price that the big companies want. Now its only been in a couple of days. But it works and I am happy. The stealership wanted a fortune for this part and labor. It was a ten minute fix on the DTS. Have an iissue with your DTS just ask me........ I work on them a lot!!.

Says it doesnt work for Cadillac 05 4.6l v8 but it does. Crosses OEM #88893284way cheaper than AC Delco brand #214-1098 even found a cheaper one, but went with a reputable brand. Punch in OEM# 88893284 to search for parts. AC272 was another one but was cheaper elsewhere online but how long until I get i?. I stuck with Amazon cause quick shipping and price was very close for delphi product compared to online competitors. Ordered thursday morning got here fri afternoon with my amazon prime. Car has intermittent problem of no start or stall on acceleration. update later to tell if problem is gone.
