Item came with two gaskets, both of which are incorrect. The rubber gasket shown requires a machined ridge not present on the new item. The other gasket has round holes which do not match the trapazoidal shaped holes on the item and would result in gasket material partially blocking the openings. I notified the manufacturer Delphi and they are dealing with the problem. There is a motorcraft gasket sold on Amazon that more closely matches this item and should be used instead.

This was not easy to install but it is exactly what my SUV needed. I can't rate it less because of the difficulty, the part was packaged properly, came with the gasket and after it was installed... worked like a charm.

Install went great, it fit perfect. If you're a diy, its easier to remove the carburetor bolts and slide the unit forward as clamped hoses will allow, but clean and cover the intake, it allows more access to remove and replace IAC valve, especiallyif you have big hands. Make sure you get a foot long 5/8" heater hose to replace the original pcv brittle plastic hose that goes from the carb to the valve cover. Idle is back down to normal vs. 3400 rpm.

Delphi was oe when my truck 03 f350 6.8 v10 was built and lasted 100,000 miles till carbon build up took it out, this one should last 100k to
