I recently took on one of those quick, simple shower trim updates that went wrong…ha! Our shower had the original Delta faucet installed almost 40 years ago. Imagine our surprise when we completed a total assembly replacement to realize the new assemble was manufactured to put out limited water flow. This bad boy saved the day and returned the old tried and true water pressure we expect. It fit perfectly and has so far been working well!

Let me start by saying holly crap this valve is AWESOME. I remodeled my bathroom a year and a half ago or two and installed very nice delta shower heads (two) and they were ok. In order for me to get super hot water I had to turn my hot water tank up and it took a good 3 minutes of the shower running for it to actually get hot. My shower head began to lose pressure and once I realized it was the valve that was getting clogged I started researching aftermarket products. What I found was the same thing. Low water pressure and like warm water. I came across this valve and thought what is there to lose. Fits perfect and when I turned my shower on not only did the t get hot within 30 seconds I think it knocked some of the grout off my tile. This shower head is like standing under a pressure washer. I absolutely love it and instead of 10 min to shower (waiting three just to get warm) it literally takes me like three min all together. I love it and will put another one on my wife’s side because she is jealous now. If you want great pressure and not be concerned with 2/3 gpm then get this one because it’s like an 85 pickup it’s getting 8 gal per minute (gpm). If I get two and turn them on at the same time my shower my take off…..

Bought delta Flynn faucet kit from Lowe’s and it came with a 2gpm piece of shit valve. Took 40 minutes to fill my new tub and barely even got hot. Found this gem and replace it. Filled my tub in 15minutes with scalding hot water perfect for a soak. Do yourself a favor and order this valve when ya get your new delta faucet kit!

Installed this in my new shower after I was disappointed with the flow to my brand new shower heads. This made a HUGE difference. Don't notice and hot flashes or anything like that.

Did exactly what I was after. Increased my water pressure. My home is about 12 years old, I do not suffer hot water when flushing the toilet. If you have an optimal plumbing setup you should be fine.

Put this cartridge on a 14 series tub and shower. Awesome pressure. They say it's not intended for this but works great. Scalding is the reason it's not recommended but I don't have that issue. Turned it to warm and turned on multiple cold water spouts to check with scalding. I'm good to go. No change at all. It may differ for you but worked great for me.

Higher flow. Can fill the tub much faster now. Installation was easy I have the screw stops by the valve so I close those and then pull out the original cartridge. Putting this one in is a little harder takes more effort to seat it in.
