I am used to the version that has 2 chin straps... they are awesome in Full size for my horse. I am going back to them. This single strap version has the ribbing too high on my horses head and his eyes are oddly right against the mesh. We tried it on my friends horse that also wears Shires full size masks and it fit her fine. A size down may work on my horse but i am just going to not buy these single strap "deluxe" masks anymore

I like this fly mask as the gauze mesh element is fine but gives the horse good visibility. The fly mask stays on generally quite well although our x racehorse has a parchant to wearing it on occasions skewed on the wrong ear. Like a baseball cap set sideways!

If your horse has a huge head like mine and most fly masks touch their eyeballs you can't beat Shires but the added darts on the deluxe mask are great to keep their eyes safe. If you want to go the extra mile take a hair straightening iron and put some extra creases in to combat the folds from being packaged.

I bought an item, tried on my mare and returned it because it did not fit. It was on her less than a minute. I sent it back knowing I would be deducted the postage but instead they charged me £12.95 against an item costing £17.99 because they said it was not good enough for resale, seriously???. I am very annoyed with them and will not buy from them again. So I don’t have the item and it cost me £12.95 thanks Church Equestrian dreadful customer service you don’t even rate 1 star as far as I’m concerned.
