This is the perfect bat weight for ages 7/8 and up. My son loves it and after he uses it, he can definitely tell a difference in his swing. Worth the purchse.

I used this for Senior Softball and it performs like I expected it would. Adds about 1 lbs to your swing. Not enough to pull a muscle but you can tell it is attached. Also, I'm not sure it really quickens your swing, but it's a good tool to loosen up prior to game-time.
