Suddenly, the front A/C lost its cooling function. After some troubleshooting, everything indicated a bad expansion valve. The expansion valve is found directly attached to the evaporator inside de A/C housing that is at the center of the car. To get access to it, it is necessary to remove the glove compartment and fan housing. After replacing it and recharging the system, front A/C is back cooling as good as new.

Fixed my a/c honda pilot 2012. Initially pressure was normal then it would be high on high(red) and low on (blue) over time. I changed the compressor and still not fixed. After replacing it with this it works good as new. Who knew a small device would make such a big difference. Not bad of a job dyi.
