The scale or size of the animal is too large . My biggest complaint of Dept 56 is the inconsistent sizes. This is the designers fault, not the Chinese production

This one in photo is a replacement for damaged one. It was not packed well for shipping at facility. It is large to be with than other figures but, I put it off by itself and it looks good. I really like it in my village.

Cute item for the dickens village display. Wish they were just a bit larger. They get lost in the display. No lights of course. Effective to add another dimension. Need one with a child petting a deer.
