Paper is smooth. No feathering. Drying time is slow with an M Nib as with all good FP friendly papers. Ghosting is severe as the paper grammage is too low. Ok if you only write on one side of the paper but these books are expensive and you would want to use both sides.Only suitable for F nibs, pens that are low flow (definitely not Pelikan as these put down a lot of ink) and if one uses iron gall or pigmented light coloured inks.It is fountain pen friendly but not practical for the price.

I have never seen a notebook lay so nicely before and the feel and quality of the paper is absolutely absurd how good it is. If you’re looking for a notebook, don't even look anywhere else, you found it. (I would recommend a notebook case of some kind whether its theirs or not since its paperback)

I love this type of notebook, there are a lot of notebooks out there but the attention to detail in this one! Really makes it stand out. The simplicity and price! The paper quality, I’ll probably keep buying this brand.

I love this book: it's size, the smoothness of the paper, even it's slight see-throughness. Drawing tools : pens, pencils, felt tips, etc. all glide on the paper effortlessly. I sue it as a daily sketchbook for quick, dry media sketching.

I love the clean minimal design. I really wish Midori made this faded blue grid for the traveler's notebooks because this is my favorite. Creamy paper without being yellow. Very smooth to write on, and the grid is so helpful. Nice string bookmark. For fountain pens I'm still undecided...no feathering, and not much as far as blead-through, however I've smeared a good bit as it took the ink (standard Lamy blue) a little longer to dry than some other paper.

若い日 pc普及初期に、業務立ち上げの作業の為 過酷な業務内容と環境下で体を傷め、文字を長時間書くことが困難になりました。事務作業を生業にすることは、困難であるとのドクターの診断も下りました。その時 pcで体を痛めたけれど、それからの生活において自らを助けるものも、pcであるという確信は有りました。革新通り、それから数十年 必須アイテムとなりました。もともと、学習時に書く行為で記憶する傾向がありました。子供の頃から書道に親しみ、書く行為は好きです。体を痛めて以来、書道の稽古は困難 出来ません。又、書くための道具にこだわらず得ない状況下にあります。筆圧を考慮・筆記用具の手の馴染み・重さ・書く行為が楽な紙質を鑑みる事が必然となりました。このノートの紙質が 兎に角 好みです。ブルー系の格子線も見やすく 文字を見るのに邪魔になりません。このノートは評判がよく、手帳テーマのコラムで頻繁に見ていました。評判通りでした。今回で２冊目なります。欲を言えばこのタイプのA5ルーズリーフ 6穴と22穴が有ればと。用紙を買い 穴をあける事もできますが、大量となればこれまた面倒という上に、手の負担になるのです。現在pcが普及して久しくなります。その今、書くという作業がより記憶にとどめる行為だと言われるようになりました。紙好きな方にお勧めな品であることは、間違いありません。

Saw a link for this to another stationary website and was thrilled to be able to pick it up here from Amazon. I have a couple of these now and the quality and design are sublime. I would recommend either of the covers as well to keep the sturdy paper cover from getting too dinged up or dirty.The quality of the paper is outstanding. I have used a wide variety of pens and inks on the paper - Monte Blanc, Zebra G750 with LK refill, and my Rotring 600 with Schmidt EF9000 in both medium and fine points and the paper is smooth and easy to write on, zero bleed, and the rules version is broken out into sections that you can use for whatever note taking you might have.Simple but elegant. Quality and value. These are things that matter and as I looked for something to capture my daily journaling thoughts, this was the choice that made sense. The A5 is the perfect size and I'll keep buying these as long as they keep making them.

From the feel of the paper to the craftsmanship of the notebook itself, everything is thought out well. A perfect journal for writing down notes, thoughts, or what have you. Will definitely be buying more!
