Not only did I receive the product damaged and not having the time or resources to get another one I installed it than trying to steer to get alignment done afterwards it began to stiffen up to the point where the mechanics said they wouldn’t even bother working on it cause of how bad it was so I drove it home barely making it I checked out the power steering reservoir only to find it was full of metal shavings after a new pump and new feed lines I was pissed so I returned it only for them to give back 18 bucks instead of the full 250 DON’T PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Detroit Axle will not send out a replacement until I send this garbage back first. I mean really? They will not return the money either. There were no o'rings went sent to install properly, replaced o'rings and the rack itself is leaking in the middle. Now completely out of time and there falling on there warrantee... But not sending me a new rack until they get theres back first. First picture shows the mount busted off. I sent these pictures to the company and have gotten no where. Quality inspection my a$$.. Quality garbage RUN!!!! Go to the auto parts store at least you will get the o'rings for proper installation. Amazon needs to help me with this! This is not right! I am an auto technician I know it's not right..

I bought this on my journey to fix a steering leak. Turns out yhe leak was the hundred dollar hose that leads into the pump. Ended up replacing the pump, hose and did this rack too because I needed all joints. The truck now steering significantly easier and is significantly much more stable on the road. So even though I didn't need this rack per se I'm very glad I replaced it. Original rack had 280k on it.
