First impression build quality looked great and remote grease fitting even better. I installed it and it failed within 1000mi. OEM is 25yrs old with 295,000 hard miles and still good! I just replaced it to update the grease seal more or less which was a mistake!!! Warranty is worthless you have to pay shipping there and back on a 5lb part. So in actuality depending on distance you might as well just buy another one!!!

I really like the remote grease fitting on this idler arm from Detroit axle. And the construction of the part looks just as stout as oem or any replacement I have used in the past. I have fixed cars since 1990 and while I don't use any particular brand exclusively I do use alot of Detroit Axle's parts.
