The ties used to secure the bellows boot at the inner tie rod end should not be secured when manufactured/rebuilt. This requires the installer to remove them when adjusting the alignment. Clamps OR leave loose until the alignment is performed.Other than this, the Rack is perfect. After flushing the system and installing, the steering is perfect. I have had nothing but good results from Detroit Axle products. My brakes and suspension is almost all DA. Quality AMERICAN manufacturing.

My mechanic would not install the power steering rack and pinion assembly so I had to return. Detroit axle hit me with $35 for shipping and $26.79 restock fee. buyer beware of this.

Product didnt last 2 months , it began to leak from the top seal where it meets the steering shaft. Atemping to see how they plan to resolve the issue .
