I love Detroit brand they are quality parts for an affordable price this will be the second truck and front end I’ve rebuilt with all Detroit parts and they work flawlessly. The only flaws to this is the rack and pinion does not have a center mark for centering the front end and steering wheel so I had to use a measuring tape to center it. I’ve had this front end on the truck for at least half a year and still flawless with no issues or complaints on my end would definitely recommend buying from Detroit axle for anything love this company.

Purchased this kit for my dads 03 Silverado with 350k miles on it. He had this installed and aligned, he loves how the truck handles and drives like new again. FYI he puts his truck to work and this product has surprised me by its performance so far. It’s been 45 days maybe 4500 miles. 👍

Ordered this rack & pinion for a 1999 Chevy Silverado 2wd.After installation, I took it to a shop for a front end alignment and found out it was 1 1/2" too long and is for newer model Silverado's. It is advertised to fit 1999-2006 but they sent the wrong part.I guess I'm out the full purchase price, thanks Amazon!

The price is right for the product!! Entire front end rebuild kit.... minus the locking nut for the outer tie rods!!!! Kind of important part to have in the kit!! You should not have to reuse an old nut on a brand new "kit"!!!
