I use this tool often and so far am pleased with the performance. It even has enough power to drive an 8' ground rod. My electric rotary hammer has more power and is harder hitting, but for the convenience of batery power, this is now my preferred tool

Loving all of the newer DeWalt products. This was a great addition to my tool box. Big 6AH batteries that can be used on any of the other 20V tools for extra run time. Strong rotohammer that runs just like a plug in model. Compact and relatively light weight for the strength of the tool. Bought this tool on sale which also made for a great value. The storage box is also huge, so you have ample room for multiple standard length bits. Not much room for 12" and longer bits however. Great tool for the pros that are going battery only.

Not much to dislike here, weight was comparable to my old Bosch hammer drill. With the battery it is a little more bulky which could be a problem in a really tight space vs the slimmer, longer corded unit.Bought the kit with two 6a XR batteries and quick charger. Recently used it on a job where I had to drill about 50 3/16 anchor bolt holes in a new slab. Got through the job on one battery (and 3 drill bits). Drilled them in sequence with the only pause to change bits. With the fast charger and two batteries it would be possible to keep going on a job as the battery can charge in less time than the tool will run through it.Nice professional plastic case for all the parts. Will be interesting to see if it holds up as long as my 10 year old Bosch.
