This thing is awesome. It is 2-3x the speed of sanding by hand and far cleaner. It is a bit harder to hold to a ceiling but you are doing it for far less time. Overall it saves time and effort.

The GoodTool functions very wellLightweight and well balancedThe BadNeed an extra adaptor to use a vacuumDewalt doesn't make their own adequately sized cordless vac, so you'll need to go to a competitor for thatThe NeutralI used this to sand a 12 roll house. It took 4 5Ah batteries to complete the whole house, so each one is good for roughly 3.5-4 rolls worth of finished drywall. Much better than I expected.When you use it the first time, do 2 or 3 closets first. Like with any new power sander, it takes a few walls to loosen up the pivots.
