what can I say, it's a screwdriver bit and it works..If same as the last Dewalt's, wont have to order more for quite a bit of time.

I needed a broader phillips head for a project in my home. This drill bit fit the bill, but because some of the screws were already roughed up pretty badly, I noticed some flaking of the metal of the tip of the bit. I was able to finish the project, but not sure how long the bit would last if I were using it more often. It was perfect for a home project in a very un-handy home.

Bits just don't last like they used to.Since Dewalt is sourcing all their stuff from China now,quality has gone down tremendously.I got a 3" philips driver bit that I bought 10 years ago,that had finally begin to slip in the heads of screws,don't know manufacturer,but was made in the USA.Well I bought this bit to replace the old bit,this bit is made of such soft metal,started slipping in the heads of screws so I had to go back to my old bit if that tells you the quality of this new bit,JUNK!!!So I'm searching for a different manufaturer looking for a quality bit to replace my 10+year old bit again.

The use of impact driver is relatively new in industries across the board and I highly recommend those who use these sort of drivers invest in a good set of impact ready driver bits.That being said...These DeWalt impact driver bits are very good at what they do and are capable of handling most any job. I have been using the same one daily for woodworking of all sorts for the last 3 months with only minimal wear.
