Tough. It doesn’t throw bits of wire into your eyes like the cheap ones do. It pays to spend a little more for a quality wire wheel.

These wire wheels are top quality for the money, as they last a long time and stay put together when worn down, they are good kit for the professional welder.

I have used DeWalt wire cups many years ago and they were terrible. They launched bristle after bristle quickly. I’m a welder by trade. I use these on cattle corral pipe fence. With all the varying angles involved, most wheels get murdered in pretty short order. I decided based on the incredible price to give these a try. I am extremely happy with them. They are tough as nails and last way longer than the other brands that cost twice as much both on Amazon and my local welding shop. Hopefully they stay reasonably priced. I’ll buy a dozen next time.
