I have a patio that gets quite a bit of debris and this vacuum really cleans up! I use this also in my garage. Nice long cord, very sturdy feel to the vacuum overall. Dewalt is a great brand so I anticipate this lasting a good long time. I had a plastic vacuum which started to fall apart quickly and didn't keep it's sucking ability. This also acts as a blower which is a plus!

This vacuum looks sturdy, but the outer shell is much thinner than I expected. On the positive side, it makes the vacuum light weight, but it doesn't feel particularly tough. I was impressed with the suction power and how smoothly the vacuum moves around on concrete and laminate floors. The included hose does seem a bit rigid, which may lead to cracking issues in the long run. I haven't owned the product long enough to say how long it will last, but my first impression is positive.

I love it, but the bags are made of unobtainium. No one sells them or has ever seen one other than the one delivered in the vacuum cleaner. (I bought a three pack of 1/2 sized universal bags from my local big box store to hold me over until the correct bags become available.)I wish the hose had a swivel at both ends, the one at the canister end is the only one.If anything it has too much suction, because it lifts many pretty big throw rugs. Nice accessories come with it. I was hoping it had twice the length of power cord. All 100% great quality. It is quite loud.Ron W4BIN

This vacuum has excellent suction, is very lightweight and moves easily. It seems lightweight and handled the job of cleaning the dryer exhaust and tubing without a problem. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Great vacuum but it does not come with a toolbox. A bag is provided and makes it cheap, otherwise typical Dewalt.
