This superb cultivator busts up hard soil quickly and easily. Great for loosening and aerating around plants. Well made and worth the price.

This is the best hand held cultivator/hand rake I've ever used. Loved it so much I had to buy another just in case I misplaced one. Super strong and sturdy and grabs debris very efficiently. LOVE IT

This is a great hand held cultivator. It is made sturdy. The five tines seem like they will last forever. The handle is smooth and appropriately sized. I use it for loosening dirt after planting and weeding. I have bought several for different parts of the yard.

This is my second DeWit 5-Tine Cultivator, and I only bought the second one because I love it so much, not because the other one broke. (It didn't break - it's still just as good as it was when I first bought it!). This is the sturdiest, most useful small garden tool I've ever used. I take it everywhere with me around the yard. I bought the second one so I could keep one in the front yard and one in the back. It digs much better than the straight-pronged cultivators you typically see in stores. I realize it's a little pricey, but to me, it's worth it to have such a great, well-made, fabulously useful tool.

I used this for the first time last weekend when I needed to empty our compost bin. I used this tool in one hand and an older, plastic-handled version in the other to grab and pull out the compost. There was no comparison between the two. The DeWit Cultivator was very comfortable to hold over a long period, grabbed the compost easily and took a lot of abuse as I repeatedly knocked it against the side of our wheelbarrow to dislodge its contents. I'd buy this again. A+.

I loved how well made and sturdy the cultivator is. However, the points are not sharp enough to cut through dry soil, and the implement really doesn't uproot weeds the way I anticipated.

I have been looking for a multi-tined cultivator for a while. This one is awesome! It rips weeds out like there's no tomorrow. It's well made and balanced. I'd take it and put it under my pillow each night if it wasn't for the pokey parts! It was worth the money.

For Mom's B-day, she loves it, uses it almost as much as the japanese homie which i think is called a hoe or a cultivator, its like a small half a furrow. well made. sanded the handle down and spray painted yellow for her along with the homie as she wanted to be able to spot the smaller tools better in the yard. Workmanship worth the price, handle could easily be replaced if need be a long way in the future unlike plastic handled tools.

this is probably the best hand cultivator i've ever used. it's the cat's meow of hand cultivators!!!i rate it a 5 because it works without much effort also. wanted another hand weeder for when i can get some help weeding, something that was comparable to a product i already have (which i can't find anywhere. i bought 2 for myself and a 3 tine also. i also bought one as a gift for my friend who occassionaly comes to help for her house. she loves it too, works better than anything she's ever had, she has a lot of clay - i have mostly sand. it gets a wider span than most cultivators & digs deeper because of the sharp points. works well in crusty topped clay soil & like butter in sandier soils. gets grass roots pulled up easily too. most weeds by roots without having to pull them up by hand. i own a daylily busines with 2 1/2 acres of daylilies and 18 big display/personal beds & weed almost everyday at least 5 hours a day some days more. it's pricy but should last forever. my other 3 tine - different product-boutght 4-5 years ago that i can't find anywhere is still in good shape -- like new -- this one should last even longer. did modify the 3 inside tines to be level with the outside by putting in a vice & pounding the tines till they were at the right level. the 3 tine works great too to get inbetween plants closer.
