We always make sure our son wears a padded compression shirt under his uniform. I decided to try this one, and he loves it. He says it fits comfortably, is thin enough he doesn't overheat, but it also provides protection. It is great for BASEBALL (for reference I am talking about baseball not football). Baseballs at his age can go over 60mph and we always want to make sure there is a little extra protection for his chest and rib cage. This compression shirt is awesome.

We purchased this last summer in 2023 for our daughter, she wore it maybe a half a dozen times, we took it out for this season and washed it, and all of the padding on the sides completely fell apart. It’s not safe for her to wear anymore, I would not purchase this as it only lasts maybe six or seven wears.
