I use these for contract work in TV engineering. They have worked fine in the field on low power television transmitter signal splitter connections. Used when a SMA cable is not available during troubleshooting. Often just left in place if performing adequately and these seem to be fine.

If you use a Ham Radio handheld and change antennas frequently, or remove the antenna for storage, you know how fragile SMA connectors seem to be. Adapting the radio and antenna to BNC makes connecting/removing much easier and avoid possible thread damage. I recommend this conversion.

We used these adapters to adapt GPS antenna cables when we changed out GPS receivers and the new receiver had a different connection. The adapters worked perfectly.
