Cuts very well. The length of cutting element is short, it bends with 1.5" board.

I used the scroll saw blades to cut 1/2" plywood for a car outline. I didn't read the description well, enough, and I didn't even know they were in there, but they are 2 of the 5 blades. They worked incredibly well, and the curves I cut were beautiful. The laminate blades did a great job on my countertops. One bent while cutting, so make sure you don't get "greedy" with them and push the jigsaw too quickly (that's what I did). Great product, great price!
