I was concerned it would not be of sufficient strength. It works great and allows me to have many more choices for bits. I was concerned it may not last, but it seems sturdy enough to do so. Time will tell, but I am berry happy with my purchase.

I have an old Hitachi spline drive, and needed (well, wanted) to drive cement stakes with it. This works just like it should. It does indeed appear to be sd to sd, but it does in fact go spline to sd.

I needed to drill a larger hole than my little cordless could handle. My corded DeWalt from the early 2000s is a spline. This adapter worked great. You just need a lot of room to use it between the bit, the drill and the adapter.

Had a SDS max Hammer drill that went bad and got a deal on a spline drive so rather than buy all new bits this adapter was a money saver.Use it for the first time today and it did not disappoint.
