Perfect for lapidary work

I purchased two of these laps, for professional lapidary. One is 600 grit, and the other is 1500 grit. The 600 grit seems to be true to grit but uneven and poorly made. The 1500 grit is either contaminated or mis labeled as a more course grit. They are very uneven and do not work well for lapidary.

Not worth the money I paid for the 800 grit 8" disc. Disc Diameter is rough cut to an appropriate circle... NOT precision machined or CNC cut. Consequently there is too much vibration when using the Disc. Also there are fingerprint corrosion spots all over the disc. I won't be buying another product from GYTYCATAH. Junk.

shipping was faster than they said it was going to be. I have not had a chance to try it yet, but feels like it will be good. it is a very thin disc so im thinking you will definitely need a master lap under it. ( im new to lapping so not sure) i will give it 4 stars just because i dont know more about the product yet
