I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that this saddle pad could have almost been a custom-made pad for my OTTB. It fits his back perfectly. The only negative I would report is that buying off the manufacturers actual site is more expensive which is why I opted to go Amazon Their customer service via email nonexistent.

Nice thick pad but it slipped drastically against my horses back. It might work better on a horse with higher withers. My horse is more like a barrel and I have a hard time finding a pad that doesn’t slip. The felt side is closest to the saddle so it hugs the saddle tight. However your saddle is slipping. Not fun! I ended up returning it.

I purchased this pad for my 2 year old colt as the regular felt (without fleece) pads were slipping out from under the saddle. This pad has not slipped at all! Only downside is I wish it was a little bit thinner as my saddle fits well without having to pad it up. Before purchasing this pad, I purchased another largely known and reputable name brand pad for slightly more money that when arrives was cheap faux wool that was poorly manufactured and the pad was almost 2 inches thick! Was so stiff I instantly returned it and ordered this pad and SO glad I did. The fleece is genuine wool, soft, and easy to clean even during shedding season! Of course it creates more heat due to the fact its thicker and wooly but it stays put and pliable. Definitely recommend if you're not looking to spend a lot of money but want quality.

Love this pad. Provides enough padding and there is very little slip or saddle roll. The only thing I'd do to improve it would be to add a cinch cut out.

Don't know the comfort level due to the fact I didn't wear it, but my daughters horse seemed to love it, over her other one. Plenty thick and a great price

I have an older gelding who gets sore after a lot of riding. I wanted a good pad to help with his soreness, so after reading numerous reviews I decided on this one. It has made a huge difference for him! It has definitely helped alleviate some of his soreness after riding and he seems much more comfortable. It performs as well as saddle pads that cost almost twice as much.

Nothing against the seller as we are very pleased with the saddle pad. That being said, I was not pleased with Amazon Canada in not making it clear that this pad was being shipped from the US and that I would have to cover extra charges. I bought from Amazon Canada to avoid extra charges.
