Fat approved: Needed durable work pants for my new job as a horticulturist. No store in my area carried a size over 10.

These are very low waisted and more like a mens fit then womens. Maybe good for some womens shape but for sure not for plus size with hips and a butt!

The pants are very structured in design and the fabric is made with quality and durability in mind. I believe the more you were them the more comfortable they will feel, and I recommend wearing a belt because in my case they began to sag throughout the day.

The pants were too small in the back as they are not made for women with large bottoms. I returned the product.

Dickies, in my mind, is famous for poor sizing when it comes to scaling up their plus size clothing options. I have had to size way up in pants that should have otherwise fit me, based on the pant size. These however have definitely made me happy and fit my criteria for well made, sturdy work pants.I work in the maritime industry and it is just REALLY hard to find clothing options that I feel physically comfortable in, are *actually* designed for constant use and blue collar work, and I don’t have to make concessions for. For reference I am 5’10” , pear shaped, and 250lbs. There’s a lot of booty going on let me just say that 😝 … these have been the best pants I have found in a long time that seem up to the task of lasting for a decent period of time. The pockets on the sides are typical for what you’d find in your average pair of carhartts - side pockets with no flap, they do hold my iPhone 14 Pro just fine but I would say it might be a tight fit for anything bigger. The fabric doesn’t have much stretch but just enough so I don’t feel like I’m going to rip the crotch out doing my job.My only real complaint is the belt loops - they are distributed well enough in the back but could use a couple more in the front, just a minor detail but might mean something to someone looking to purchase. Also, after several washes the color is holding up pretty well but I have found with Dickies, there is a natural fading of the black that I don’t think can be avoided. Isn’t an issue for me personally but worth mentioning.Hoping this review helps someone else out there with a similar body, or just a curvy person looking for good sturdy pants.

Don’t go off of the size chart, they fit about a size larger than what shows.

Pantalon de travail avec tissus épais. De bonne qualité. Par contre, pas du tout élastique.

Not thick thigh friendly. Within the first week of wear it aquired a small hole near the belt loops and being generous I got 35 days of wear before the dreaded thigh split occurred. I work in a wharehouse and put the pants through their paces, but still was expecting better.

I have been searching for a rugged pair of women's work pants for months. I looked at so many brands with prices from $25 to well over $100 per pair. It seems that the trend over the past few years is to gradually shift over to a lightly fabric with more stretch and more "fluffy" colors for women's work clothes and try to pass them off as work clothes rather than the casual wear into which they really have morphed. In fact, the same thing has happened to the Dickies Plus Size Women's double knee Carpenter pants...thin fabric with double fabric around the knee and the durability perhaps (?) reaching the durability of this pair. I'm sorry...my keister doesn't fit into a pair of mens pants! For cripes sake, some women need rugged work pants! We are solidly in the 21st century and women's needs still aren't taken seriously? These companies really need to get their head out of their...golf hole...and produce some quality workwear that is truly rugged, that fits appropriately, and (dare I say it!?) has pockets that can hold more than a quarter and a bubble gum wrapper! As for these pants, I do like them. The fabric is very substantial, definitely wears well, ages with character, and doesn't appear to shrink much with repeated washings. My only complaints: shallow front pockets, no inseam option for tall women, and limited colors. The colors are good but there are only 3 from which to chose. When looking at men's options, they have a larger selection. Unfortunately, this is the last vestige of the traditional carpenter duck pant in relatively heavy canvas that I have been able to find. If Dickies elects to change this style, I am out of luck.

I’ve always been self conscious about my body, pants being my least favorite thing to shop for. So when I got a new job I was like “Omg I need like, actual pants!” These are amazing in a very way I needed. They don’t strangle my thighs or waist, the color bought them in are exact to the listing and I love them lol. They’re comfortable, go with a lot of my normal clothes and are really nice on my body. They do unfortunately wrinkle easily, at least for me personally but I move around a lot so i kinda smooth it out haha.

Shows burn marks faster than Carhartt but also half the price.People are saying they fit big but they're expecting the small sizing that other construction brands have whereas these are sized more like everyday jeans you might buy at Old Navy
