Excellent product, nice metal storage box. I work in power-sports and replace chains often. This tool is exactly what I needed, sturdy and easy to use. I do not use it to break chains as I have a different tool for that. Pressing on side plates was a breeze and the pressing of the rivets is very simple, just a small adjustment of the tool is required. It is made in such a way that it has a built in stop when pressing/spreading the rivet head, so it can't be over pressed.I read some reviews that said the tool broke when trying to break the chain. Makes me wonder if they ground the head of the rivet off before trying to press them out, as should always be done.D.I.D. best chains in the business, not surprised they make an excellent chain tool.

This was my first chain replacement. I did not use this for cutting, just for putting the new chain back in pack in place. The engineering is interesting. Other products essentially had multiple pieces for the different steps. This is designed so that the same set of pieces perform all of the steps, you just use them in a different configuration. As such, there was a little bit of a learning curve and a couple of false starts, but in the end the chain is on. While this part is expensive, this is potentially your life you are playing with (if a broken chain locks up your rear wheel, it wont end well) so I think the price is worth it. especially since it can be used over and over again.

This chain breaker is the toughest on the market. Designed and built for long term use. Should last longer than me! Functional and simple to follow directions and use.

This was the easiest and quickest chain riveting tool I have ever used! I did not use this tool for chain removal so I cannot comment on that.

This tool is useless. Not the fault of the seller, it arrived fine. The tool is just junk. Too many heavy parts that won't stay aligned on the chain, so it's impossible to get it to work correctly. It broke the first time I tried to use it, for removing the old chain. I used a grinder to get the chain off. Then I tried to use it to assemble the new chain. The tool broke again, in a different way! So it gets two zeroes. Maybe three, since it'll shipped somewhere else then thrown away when I return it. I may as well just throw it away here and be done with it. Looking at other options. In the meantime, my bike is partially assembled and unusable until I find a new tool. Sigh.

I'm glad I decided to spend a little extra to get this tool. It came in a nice metal case with a cardboard sleeve. It looks to be very high quality, was easy to use, did an excellent job and seems like it will last well to be used many many more times.

It’s engineered like a Japanese tank and if you’re using it for regular 20-30,000 mile chain changes on your bike it’ll last longer than you. Or your kids. Or their kids. Maybe even their kids assuming there are motorcycles in whatever Mad Max apocalypse scenario they’re living in by then. The price somewhere between ridiculous and absurd for what it is, but you just can’t deny it works quickly, effortlessly, and it eliminates the fear of screwing up by over or under-pressing the rivets or squashing the link. You’re paying for peace of mind, but it’s kinda annoying that peace of mind is so freakin’ expensive. I lied to my wife about what I paid for it and you should too.
