I needed a seal installer & this was priced better than Caterpillar. Judging by the appearance, I believe it had been used already but that didn’t concern me too much until the tool failed 1/2 way through the 1st seal installation. It’ll probably void any warranty or replacement chances but I had no choice but to weld it in order to finish the job. The Allen head bolts bind in the base during fit up & overall I’m not impressed. Hopefully I won’t have any problems with the seal.

My tool came not welded properly firs atempt to screw the nut the tool was broken.
