I have an antique railroad little wizard lantern with a red globe, but wanted a clear globe too so it could serve as an brighter source of light. The quality of this glass doesn't appear to be on par with the original red globe, it's noticeably thinner. But I don't intend to go banging that thing around, so it shouldn't be a problem.
