I have returned 2 of these timers because they did not function properly. Both would count items but with both the remote would not turn off the unit or do other useful functions. Needing to unplug the unit to get it to shut off when not using it is not good.Also on the 1st unit we received it beeped with the first count but then remained buzzing until unplugged. On the 2nd unit the unit did not beep at all with counting but did beep whenever a button on the remote was activated.There needs to be some quality control and testing before these are sent out.
